Good to be back at it!
Garbage opened the night with a rollicking performance. To me it was like going to two different concerts in a row. Dennett still has it and a bit more for sure. The band mix was another thing all together. The mix was better for Garbage though. Her vocals were the focus of the mix and that was nice. Lots of low end energy that was like mud mostly. Shirley was surprised by the large audience for the opener - they were well received. She has an amazing voice and knows how to use it. Maybe it sounded better in the headphones?? No real definition or clarity for the higher frequencies. The RTA at the FOH showed the truth of it. Great show!
